At FAADA we feel that in order to defend animal rights it is of fundamental importance to know the legislation that affects and regulates the different relationships we have with animals.
In Animal Law there are various hierarchical codes that regulate animal protection.

Primarily, in order to determine which cases are likely to be punished, whether administratively or criminally, we should know our town’s by-laws regarding animal ownership. And in the case of severe abuse we should know the criminal code.
